Dr. Ghatnekar is the President & CEO of FirstString Research, Inc., a clinical-stage biotechnology company located in Charleston, South Carolina.He served as the Company’s Chief Scientific Officer prior to becoming the CEO. He also serves as Board Chairman of Regranion, LLC.Dr. Ghatnekar is a member of various prestigious national and international scientific societies including the Wound Healing Society and the Association for Advancement of Wound Care.He

has published several papers in peer-reviewed journals and has multiple patents to his name
